What is Lawgood's contract review service?

Lawgood offers a new & innovative way to get affordable, high-quality legal help with your contracts for your business.

An experienced lawyer reviews your contract and prepares a personalized report just for you. The report lays out potential red flag issues and places that can be improved - all in an easy-to-understand format.

Is this a service for me?

Lawgood's services and plans are designed to help business owners, entrepreneurs, and freelancers protect their hustle.

If you deal with contracts for your business that are either (1) drafted by you using contract templates, legal forms, or contract samples and/or (2) drafted by somebody else, our services and plans are designed just for you. Find out hidden risks and opportunities in your contract before you sign so you can protect and build your business.

How can Lawgood help my business?

Contract disputes are the #1 legal problem for businesses. A single contract dispute costs on average $90K (yikes!).

That's enough to take down a small business. Many contracts have common mistakes that, if fixed, can prevent such disputes. Lawgood's contract review service helps identify those mistakes and gives you guidance on how you can fix them.

What do I get with each contract review?

An experienced lawyer will review your contract or agreement and prepare a personalized report for you.

The report will highlight potential red flag issues, places that can be improved to be more favorable to you, and terms that are not up-to-date with current contract law. The report will also provide tips and suggestions on how you can fix your contract yourself.

The service does not include a revision of your contract. However, you are more than welcome to hire the lawyer to help you. You also have the option to chat with the lawyer about your report for an additional flat fee.

How much does it cost?

We offer flat fee services and monthly plans. Our flat fee services start at $95 per contract. Our monthly plans which include unlimited contracts start at $200 per month.

Both options are considerably more affordable than old-fashioned legal help (which is on average $300 per hour!). It's also easier, faster and provides more value per dollar spent.

How is Lawgood's services so affordable?

Our mission is to empower those who have to take care of their own legal needs by providing them with the right tools and resources to do it right.

We've developed technology that uses artificial intelligence to help the lawyer review and provide feedback to you in a smarter and faster way. You still get the expertise of a real lawyer, but at a fraction of the cost.

What if I want more help with my contract after I receive my report?

For an additional flat fee, you can have a follow-up conversation with the lawyer about your report. You can go through the report together over the phone or go straight into any specific questions that you may have.

If you would like further assistance with your contract (e.g., revisions, negotiation help, drafting, etc.), you may discuss directly with the lawyer about engaging his or her services. If the lawyer cannot help you, we’re happy to help you with finding another lawyer.

What if I'm not satisfied?

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee in case you're not satisfied with your review + report. To ask for a refund, simply contact us through our contact form and let us know that you'd like a refund and the reason why you're not happy. Your request must be received within 30 days of your initial order for a full refund.

It's affordable because our technology helps the lawyer review and provide feedback to you in a smarter and faster way. You still get the expertise of a real lawyer, but at a fraction of the cost.

We want you to be satisfied and so each order comes with a 30-day money back guarantee.

Is Lawgood a law firm?

No, we're a legaltech company with a mission to make tools and resources for individuals who have to take care of their own legal needs. We provide information and software only.

Lawgood is not a law firm or a substitute for an attorney or law firm, does not provide any legal services, legal advice or "lawyer referral services" and does not provide or participate in any legal representation.

How are you different from other legal companies?

Many of the other legal companies offer consultations dressed up as "contract review" to sell you more expensive legal services. Lawgood is different. With our services and plans, there are no hidden fees and no traps. We provide real value so you can protect your business.

Who are the lawyers?

All lawyers are members of Lawgood's exclusive network of highly skilled and experienced lawyers. While we can't make any representations relating to any participating lawyer, each lawyer has been carefully vetted by Lawgood before being admitted into our network.

A majority of the lawyers in our network are from top law schools, licensed to practice in their respective states, and have extensive experience with contracts. Furthermore, all have expressed that they share our vision of making legal services more accessible for everyone!

So is the lawyer my lawyer for everything?

No. The lawyer is essentially giving you a consultation in a different form (i.e., a report). For anything beyond the report, you may directly discuss with the lawyer about engaging them for additional services.

I need legal help beyond contracts. Can you help?
